James Travers Travers has a long writing background in Ottawa as well as overseas. His focus is not only on national affairs, but also on Canadian foreign policy. Winner of the 2003 Hyman Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism.

Chantal Hebert Chantal Hebert began covering Ottawa in 1986, and has worked for both radio and newspapers. Since joining the Toronto Star in 1999, she has written a weekly column on a wide range of Quebec issues, including federal-provincial relations. She has also been a parliamentary reporter for Radio-Canada and served as bureau chief for the Quebec newspapers Le Devoir and La Presse.
Hebert is the 2006 winner of the Hyman Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism.
