Kakuro puzzles are easy to learn yet highly addictive language-independent logic puzzles which follow in the footsteps of the world-famous game, Sudoku. Using pure logic and simple addition and subtraction calculations, these fascinating puzzles offer endless fun and intellectual entertainment to puzzle fans of all skills and ages.
Best described as a number crossword, the task in Kakuro is to fill all of the empty squares, using the numbers 1 through 9, so the sum of each horizontal block equals the number to its left, and the sum of each vertical block equals the number on its top. In addition, no number may be used in the same block more than once.
Kakuro puzzles may range from very easy to extremely difficult, taking from ten minutes to several hours to solve. However, make one mistake and you'll find yourself stuck later as you get closer to the solution. If you like Sudoku, you will love the Conceptis Kakuro!
